Bordered by Pacific Boulevard, Robson Street, and Homer Street, Yaletown is a thriving community and part of the downtown Eastside. Yaletown began as an area for industrial jobs and factories, with a primary focus on the railway and it played a large part in connecting British Columbia with the rest of Canada. Nowadays, Yaletown is known as a lively neighbourhood, filled with cafes such as the Blue Water Cafe and pubs like the Yaletown Brewing Company.
