East Pender Street L.A. Hamilton named Pender Street for Daniel Pender. Daniel Pender was the Captain of the Royal Navy. He has an area dedicated to him, called the "Pender Harbour".
East Cordova Street Cordova Street was a street that L.A Hamilton named for Cordova Channel. In 2017, Cordova Residence won an award for recognition of restoring its exterior and part of its interior. The restoration included a fire escape and a hand operated horse elevator.
Heatley Avenue Heatley Avenue was named after Edward Davis Heatley.

Powell Street Powell Street was named after Israel Wood Powell. He was a medical doctor, politician, land speculator, Indian agent, militia man and an educator of Upper Canada. During the gold rush, Powell successfully developed a medical practice. He had lots of land and Powell was the first Superintendent of Indian Affairs.
Union Street This street was named in 1911. It is unknown why this street was named Union Street. First built in 1886, Union Street was the largest landholding of the Vancouver Improvement Company which was owned by businessmen and politicians. Benny Foods Market was built on Union Street.
Hawks Avenue Hawks Avenue was named after John Francis Hawks. Hawks was one of the original stockholders of Coal Harbour Land Syndicate
East Hastings Street Hastings Street was named for George Fowler Hastings. Born in 1814, George Fowler Hastings was the Commander in Chief for the Pacific Station and an officer of the Royal Navy. He died in 1876.
Gore Avenue Gore Avenue was named for William Sinclair Gore by L.A Hamilton. William Sinclair Gore was born in 1842. He was the Deputy Minister of Lands and Works for British Columbia. Gore was a civil engineer and government official.
Jackson Avenue Jackson Avenue was named after R.E. Jackson. Jackson was a Victoria lawyer and law partner of Justice Drake. Fountain Chapel is built on this street.
Keefer Street Keefer Street was named after George Alexander Keefer. Keefer was an Engineer in British Columbia of the Dominion Public Works Department. He was a member of the Canadian Society of Civil Engineers. Keefer was elected to be a member of the Institution.
Princess Avenue This street was named Princess Avenue in 1911. Princess Avenue was originally named Carl Avenue after Carl Strouse. It is unknown why this street was named Princess Avenue. The Strathcona Church was built on this street.
